Joyce is in denial, she can not face nor accept the fact her husband has AD. Joyce, needs to get a life and let her husband acclimate himself to his new surroundings. Which sounds like he is doing quite well on his own. At activity time kindly tell to shut her mouth and let Bob answer for himself. Joyce, needs to start building a network of people now and not to focus on Bob's every need. The time will come where she is going to need inner strength and faith to get her through this. As it is only going to get worse, unless then find a cure. K
