As a caregiver I try to give people the best care and love that many times family members are not able to give. This is the perfect job for me and I thank god for giving me this great opportunity. This class has helped me understand more about dementia and by that I can provide better care for my residents. thank you.
what is alzheimer? Is a disorder that destroy cells in the brain.
what is dementia? the loss of mental funtion in tow or more language, memory, visual and spatial areas such: abilities, or judgement severe enough to interfere with daily life.
other types of dementia? multi-infarct dementia, parkinson's disease, huntington's disease, creutzfeldt-jacob disease, picks disease, lewy body dementia.
