Three strategies that can be used to make training more creative and fun are:

1. When you are on your way to an outing engage the clients to name some places that you know they have been.
2. At your facility's activity time rotate each client as the asst. activity leader in their favorite activity or hobby.
3. Encourage your staff to promote being helpful. Have them to give compliments while the clients are helping and after they have finished helping.
